"Update for Late 2023. The crazy hail storm we had wrecked our roof and I didn't even bother calling anyone else when it came to replace the shingles. Kevin and Karl got me a quote quickly and the whole crew did an amazing jobs replacing my entire roof in hours! Turns out the roof was in pretty bad shape, but Karl and his team did their best to reinforce what they could and let me know what to plan for in the future. Bottom line. If you want quality work done by professionals who are also super friendly, contact Balcones. I'll recommend them to anyone who asks (or even if they don't). They have a customer for life here. Thanks guys! -- Just realized I never wrote a review for these gents! We had a leak in our East Austin bungalow roof and I called (or rather, chatted up) Balcones roofing, fearing the worst. They were professional, FAST, and patched up what turned out to be some dried up caulk on a roof penetration. Unfortunately, my insurance declined a new roof even with the obvious damage (way beyond the roof penetration), but the team's fast response and helpful demeanor means I'm not bothering even contacting other companies when we need a roof. Trust me, if you want it done right by people who actually give a hoot about the quality and professionalism of their work, just call Balcones and don't bother with anyone else."

"I had multiple roofing companies recommend a total replacement of my 2 year old roof after a large hailstorm. My friend recommended I call Balcones Roofing. Karl came out and found multiple hail strikes that needed attention and told me the rest of the roof was in great condition and didn't need to be replaced. He talked me OUT of a total roof replacement and instead offered to come back and replace the damaged shingles. He worked with my schedule and came to do the repair and only charged me his trip fee to complete the repair which took an hour. This saved me thousands of dollars in insurance deductible as well as the hassle of having to deal with having the roof replaced. That kind of honesty is hard to come by but it also guarantees that this is the company I'll be using when it's time for a new roof."
