  • "JWelda working as a recommended sub contractor of Renewal by Andersen (RBA), provided us with a time and material job that they estimated to be around $10k. There was water damage in a window and there was the possibility of more water damage to the structure (studs, header etc) They opened the wall and was not as bad as it could have been. They ended up with a final cost to me of $5k. That happened to be the same as the down payment required before they would start the project. I have attempted several times for them to break down the cost of the project and they only gave me the cost of materials and labor. They never gave me the labor time for each worker for the days dedicated to the window repair itself. I have a security system with cameras and it recorded time they were there and where they were working. The problem is they were still working on items not done with the RBA installation of doors and other windows not completed the first go around with RBA's employees. The work was done well, the guys were professional, nothing wrong with what they did but the company seems to be double dipping with what was left to be done with RBA and the actual window rot repair. Not the installation of the window itself as that was paid for through RBA Jim Smith Prior Lake"
