  • "I have had this company out to my house several times over the last few years. 2 years ago, they put in a water heater, air conditioner and furnace. A few weeks ago, the air conditioner wasn't keeping up so I called them out. I asked about whether or not it was still under warranty since none of the paperwork they gave me gives me that information. The lady on the phone couldn't answer that. I had to pay them to come out to figure out if it was or not. Now today, the water heater is leaking. Again, I call to see about getting it fixed and if it's covered under warranty. Again, the lady that answers the phone can't answer that. Then, she tells me it'll be $128 plus repairs for them to come out. I informed her that I paid for their loyalty program so it should only be $7 plus repairs (if it's not under warrant, which it should be since it's only 2 years old.). She then tells me the loyalty program doesn't cover weekends. When I asked for information about the loyalty program (twice before I got any information) I expected to get a pamphlet or something with that sort of information. I just got a text (screenshot included in review). No where in there does it say anything about that. Considering I work 12-16 hours Monday- Friday and would have to take a day off to make that useful, I never would have paid for that. I lose more money taking the day off then just paying their weekend service charge. 2 stars only because I usually like the guys that come out. The people that answer the phones are pretty useless. I'll give them a little credit though, it's probably not their fault that they can't answer basic questions about an account. That's how these businesses are ran anymore. Pay the service charge just to get an answer. I can get a cheaper water heater through work and do the work myself if it's not under warranty but can't get that answer from them."

  • "Ed was great - responsive, informative, and very courteous. He troubleshooted my problem and fixed it immediately. I appreciate your time and service. Many thanks! This is the second time Ed has assisted us, and he continues to deliver first class service. Always professional and helpful, we appreciate your assistance. Thanks and Merry Christmas. Kyle was super - efficient, knowledgeable, courteous, and extremely helpful. He diagnosed our system and thoroughly checked everything. We appreciate your professionalism and service. Thanks and have a great Christmas. UPDATE Jul 2021 HEP is not recommended any longer by me. I had great service in the past, signed up for the loyalty program, etc. Now, I have an issue on the weekend, call for assistance, etc. The tech arrives and charges me the full price for a service call (which is supposed to be waived if a loyalty member) only to be told that that only applies Monday to Friday. Wow, I wasnt told that when I was solicited for the program. Lastly, the tech did no work (I ended up fixing the problem) just as they arrived, but was charged full service call and a diagnostic fee; again wow, way to take care of a loyalty customer. No more do I recommend HEP."

  • "Had Technicians come out and remove and replace a 50gal water heater with a 80gal water heater turned water off and they went to work on it and within a little bit all was good to go. Very courteous and understanding of all that needed to be done. Thank you for your swift response to this issue."

  • "Chuck was great. Explained everything to me. Sadly, he was having to charge $375 to replace one water line pipe on my hot water heater. HEP can only hard pipe in when my is hooked up with simple hoses. I understand it’s more professional to pipe it in, but if the customer wants a hose it should be an option. Not many people can afford almost $400 to replace a $15 hose. HEP needs to offer more choices to save those on a budget. Now I have to go buy the part and do it myself. I was willing to pay at least $100 but $375 is outrageous. Hope they’ll consider this in the future. Again, Chuck was great, very polite and a great representation of their company however, I will never use HEP because their prices are ridiculous."

  • "Called Hep for sewer not draining. Robbie called to tell us he was on his way. Robbie was professional and explained the best repair. We are 100%satisfied with the work Robbie performed. Zack and Colin called to tell us they were on the way. Both guys were very professional and explained all work they were doing. When they were done we could barely tell they had a good sized hole in the yard. We 100% recommend them."

  • "Thank you HEP for outstanding performance and customer service. I called HEP and they came to the rescue and fixed my AC unit. And did it very professionally answering all my questions and explaining everything. The best part of it all was the price, being way less than I had in mind. I will recommend to anyone! Thanks again!"
