  • "I didn't think my roof replacement would be covered under insurance but Will came out inspected it, met with the adjuster and got it paid. I opted for better shingles, ridge vents and drip boots which cost a little out of pocket but is highly worth it long term. There was water damage I didn't know about and they cut it out and replaced the bad wood. They installed drip edges (code required) and step flashing where the builder did it improperly. The crew is very experienced and hardworking and did almost the entire job on one very hot day. They cleaned up nicely and did a final inspection and it looks great. I highly recommend this a veteran owned family business."

  • "I found Great American Roofing on Next Door. I called them up and 20 minutes later Garrett arrived. They made a small repair, and didn't just try to sell me a new roof. I will definitely be calling them if I need other repairs and when I need to replace my roof."

  • "BEWARE of Deceptive Business Practices! In April of 2021, Chase from Greater American Roofing knocked on my door to ask if I would let him climb on my roof to inspect for hail damage. After verifying his insurance information, he performed an inspection and found some hail damage. I filed a claim with my insurance company. I should note that throughout the process, Chase has been very polite and respectful. After my claim was approved, I asked 6 other reputable roofing companies to provide an estimate of the cost to replace the roof. All 6 companies were highly rated through both Google reviews and one of the large national shingle manufacturers. None of the other 6 companies required me to show them my insurance estimate before providing their own estimate. However, when I asked Greater American Roofing to provide an estimate for the roof replacement cost, they insisted on seeing a copy of the insurance estimate first. I got a call from Cameron with Greater American Roofing who said that they never provide an estimate without the insurance estimate. He said they use the same estimating program that the insurance companies do so the estimates will be the same. I asked him to prove that by providing an estimate and he refused. He then switched to high pressure sales tactics by claiming that Chase had "risked his life" by getting up on my roof and had spent time with the insurance inspector explaining the damage he saw. I told Cameron that Chase had knocked on my door and I had never made any promises to use them. The other roofing companies which provided me estimates were willing to climb on my roof to inspect the scope of work, and none of them claimed to have "risked their life" in order to get the job. When Cameron was continuing his high pressure sales pitch, he said that his company has completed "thousands of roofs" and never provided an estimate before hand. I believe this is a lie because the company is listed in the BBB as having been formed in April 2020, or only a year before they contacted me. Cameron also claimed that a neighbor "recommended they help me out" which is why they contacted me. I believe this is a lie because none of my neighbors have had work done by Greater American Roofing or said anything about them to me. I believe that they use a program which shows hail storms that hit a certain area and then knock on the doors of homes in that area and try to justify a new roof paid for by the insurance company. My biggest concern is that they will not provide an INDEPENDENT WRITTEN ESTIMATE of the work prior to starting the job. One reason they could do this is because they believe they can do the job cheaper than the insurance payout and therefore increase their profits. Obviously the result for the homeowner would be a lower quality roof. Having a written estimate before a contractor starts work is standard practice and protects the homeowner by providing a list of all work to be done and materials to be used. Greater American Roofing refuses to provide a written estimate and only wants to use the insurance estimate which is deceptive and will ultimately only hurt the homeowner. IN RESPONSE TO THE GREATER AMERICAN ROOFING REPLY: There were no disparaging remarks about veterans made. Cameron repeatedly said that Chase "risked his life" to get on my roof, and I told Cameron that Chase asked to get up on my roof and its not like he was fighting in Vietnam. To make this crystal clear for Cameron, fighting in Vietnam was risking one's life. A roofer, climbing on a dry roof, is not the same as fighting in Vietnam when it comes to risking one's life. Again, none of the other roofers I had provide an estimate complained about risking their life. Greater American Roofing is twisting my words in their rebuttal. You can see a new 5 star review that was written 10 mins after their rebuttal which specifically mentions Cameron and a neighbor referral (prob based on my review). In addition to cheating homeowners out of insurance money, it appears they are also writing their own 5 star reviews on google."

  • "A young man named Cameron who was very knowledgeable about the roofing industry came to my door. He let me know that his company was working on my neighbor’s roof and he noticed I had what looked to be a missing shingle. He asked if it was ok to do a full inspection. Not only did he do that, but found enough damage that he advised I have it fixed. He helped me to file a claim with my insurance and came out to meet the adjuster. He seemed to know more than the adjuster! Thanks to him, I received a brand new roof paid for by my insurance carrier and all I had to pay was my $1000 deductible! I really appreciate what this company did for me, they are family owned and they do beautiful work. I highly recommend them!"

  • "This is a great company. Family owned and operated. They were on time and very very clean and respectful. When asked, they came quickly for a quick look at some issues and fixed them quickly. We have never had a roof replaced, but I can’t imagine anyone would do a better job then Alan and his team."

  • "Cameron was a pleasure to work with at Greater American Roofing. The process went very smoothly and they were able to get the job covered by insurance. The crew was very professional and communication was great. I would highly recommend this company."

  • "Amazing! Called in and they were out the next day, very responsive to anything I needed and helped me every step of the way. Cameron met me at my house to check out the roof and informed me insurance would be able to cover my repair. I would 100% recommend this business to anyone. 5 star rating no doubt"

  • "Highly recommend these guys. They were able to get our claim approved when another roofer couldn’t. Follow up was awesome. The job was done in one day and the clean up was excellent. Love the way our new roof looks and they replaced our gutters as well. This family owned business is the ONLY one we’ll recommend to friends and family."

  • "Everything went smoothly. They did a great job, no more leaks, so no leaks is good news. He was honest and I believe he gave me a very very genuine rates and he came out right away to get it fixed. I had my roof replaced a couple years ago after we had all those storms and evidently, what are they called, flanges, or whatever's under the shingles, I forgot the name, it starts with an F, those were loose so the water was getting into there. I think I heard about them from a referral from our sub division, we always share good experience with vendors. I'd give them 6 stars if I could."

  • "They're great. They're excellent. I would refer them to anybody. I'm starting my own business helping people with their home management needs, and if I ever need any roofing, I'm going to be calling them to help my clients. They repaired a leak and looked over my roof. I had a new roof put on several years ago and couldn't find the person that put it on, so they fixed the leak and did a very thorough check of other things. They made sure my roof was good to go and did a great job. They had to put the shingles back on and a little bit of wood repair. There were some nails or flashing that wasn't installed properly from a previous company and they redid that. They did a great job. They didn't rip me off, because I had four people bid on the job, so I was pretty familiar with the work that needed to be done. They provided me with a thorough written up estimate of what was to be done. They showed up on time, were really professional, and polite. Their response time, if I called and needed something they called me right back. I mean very, very concerned about customer service and making sure the customer is happy. I loved everything about them."

  • "They replaced my entire roof. They were very helpful in making my decision and they were knowledgeable about anything that I had a question about. I enjoyed the process. It was not a chore. You know sometimes when you have things done at your home, you work hard to get it done, but I didn't have to do anything. I recommend them."

    - J.P.

  • "Greater American Roofing got the work done, and they made sure it was done professionally. Their prices were reasonable as far as working with me with what my insurance was going to pay. I would give them an A+—they stuck with me, they did what they said they would do, and they made sure everything was done right. They had everything cleared up afterward. I think it was Cameron that gave me the estimate and oversaw the work; I appreciated him—he communicated with me good. They did a really nice job, and followed through with everything."
