"We just moved into our house and noticed it was taking a long time for the clothes to dry, so I went into the attic to inspect the dryer vent and found it was severely misaligned and not venting properly. It had build up of lint coming out of the tape and I was afraid it comprised the integrity of the plywood as it felt weakened. I called Thompson’s have someone come out and look at it so I could get an estimate and time frame if it needed repaired. I was about to be going out of town for work and was really hoping to have this fixed for peace of mind before leaving the family for a few days. They sent Walt Williams out to look at it, I figured it would be a traditional 5-10 mins of here’s what you need, here’s what it’ll cost, and here is the soonest we can get to you. I was completely wrong for assuming that, Walt isn’t that guy, if he is able to take care of you himself, he will. He was able to take care of it that day and I haven’t had any issues since. A local business with local employees that are straight up, hardworking, and giving you the service you need without a bunch of extras you don’t, those are hard to find. That’s the experience I had with Thompson’s, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again."
