"Shelter added a new roof to our home about 3 years ago. Since then, we have had them out for 2 small repairs. One was when we moved the furnace to the attic, they patched up the original exhaust vent and the most recent a small leak most likely from the water heater vent over the garage. The company and staff have always been professional. Today they came out bright and early (before the rain started) looked at the area of concern and sealed any possible sources (including surrounding areas) that could have caused the leak. I would recommend them for new roof replacement or repair. Great service at reasoanble prices."

"I can’t say enough good things about Shelter Roofing and Solar. I met with Scott, the owner of the company, to discuss my roofing needs and the installation of solar. I was quite impressed with the way Scott presented his product to me. He was well prepared, with a folder, which included all the pricing broken down in an easy to read fashion. It also included information about his company, information about the underlayment, and a brochure for the roof air vents. Scott explained everything to me. I did not feel any salesman type pressure at all. He just stated, this is what we have, this is what we do, and this is the price and he answered all my questions. Straightforward with no pressure selling. I thought the pricing for the roof and solar was reasonable. I didn’t have to worry about the permits and inspections as they were all handled by Shelter Roofing and Solar. They replaced all the underlayment and broken tiles. I was impressed by the fact that they used two layers of underlayment. They also included four air vents which was a nice feature that was offered. Scott referred me to Chris to discuss the Solar part of the project. I met with Chris and he was very familiar with all aspects of Solar and answered all of my questions. Pedro and his crew replaced my roof and underlayment. My two skylights were also replaced. This made a huge difference with all the light now coming in. The crew were exceptionally good at what they do. They were very nice and cooperative. They cleaned everything up on a daily basis before they left for the day. The roof was completed in only four days. Collin and his crew handled the installation of the solar. I had many questions and Collin answered all of them to my satisfaction. I really enjoyed working with Collin. The solar was installed in less than a day. It went very smoothly. My electrical panel had to be replaced to accommodate the solar. Shelter Roofing used Conejo Valley Electric. I was impressed with the installation of the panel as it was done aesthetically pleasing. They used a label maker to label all the different breakers. It was done very neatly. The finishing work around the electrical panel was done beautifully by Epi of Conejo Valley Electric. Looking at the electrical panel and the panel for the solar, along with the conduit, looks neat and very impressive. The conduit was also painted which was a nice touch. I am appreciative and grateful for the service that Scott, Chris, Collin, Pedro and his crew, Isidro who fixed some of the things that needed to be followed up on, and Epi who did the finishing work on my electrical panel. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Kathryn. She is the Office Manager and handles all the office business and billing. Kathryn was a joy to work with. She always kept me up-to-date and I enjoyed my conversations with her. She was very thorough and making sure that I was being updated about the work progress. There is no question that I would highly recommend Shelter Roofing & Solar to my friends and family. I believe they truly care about their customers and they do everything they can to make sure that the work is done correctly. They are a top-notch company, family owned, and have been in business since 1978."

"They did our Solar installation. We are very pleased with the results. They disclosed all costs up front and took the time to address all our questions/concerns. No gimmicky high pressure sales tactics and more importantly it was obvious Collin knew the technology well and was able to provide accurate answers to all our questions. The honesty up front carried well into the actual install. The schedule, cost, and performance was all as expected. The work was completed quickly and they took care of all permits with city and utility company."
