"DeFrehn Roofing Review - I was really impressed with the company in terms of the sales process & installation. However, I've been trying for the past 3-4 months to get anyone from this company to follow up with me. If you do decide to use Defrehn, I highly recommend that you either carefully check their work yourself before paying them or hire someone to do so for you. Once again, I was quite happy with the work they did until about 9-10 months after when we started getting squirrels in our attic and above our garage. The installers left a 4 to 5 inch opening where 2 sections of the roof come together and in another spot just above my garage, even bigger. I was shocked when I discovered this, and even more so when I found the same thing a few months later when I had to chase squirrels out for a 2nd time. For the record, I did try phoning the company, filling out a web form, texting David DeFrehn. and calling his cell phone....the only response I got initially from him was via text where he was trying to sell me a thicker copper flashing they have. Clearly he wasn't really listening to the details of my complaint. I even said I'd listen but no follow ups. One disappointed customer here. One photo below of the lower issue. If needed I'm happy to go to upper spot and take photos there as well. I'd still love to hear from these guys and see them do the "right" thing."
