  • "I called regarding an estimate for a complete teardown and re-roof of my residence... no small job, probably approx $15K job. I left contact info, they said they would get back to me. A week later I called, gave job details again, and left contact info again. They apologized and said they would have someone (John) get back to me. A week later i called. I said this would be my last attempt to have them give me a roofing estimate. Again they apologized and said someone would contact me. I haven't heard ANYTHING from these guys.... UNPROFESSIONAL and WASTE OF MY TIME! UPDATE: Finally was contacted by John and he was very apologetic, explaining a myriad of things occurring with personnel, communications, etc. Glad to see that he cares, but I have already moved on."

  • "***UPDATE*** Jimmy's did come back out and fix the issues that we had with our roof and the problems were corrected within 24 hours. Since the issues have been fixed we are now pleased with our new roof. I would caution that they did advise us that they do not have their own roofing crew and do contract out all of their jobs. Lack of communication and far from impressed! We reached out to Jimmy's back in mid July for a quote on our roof, after speaking with several local roofers Jon from Jimmy's seemed to be the most knowledgeable and actually took the time to inspect our roof to determine the root cause of the leaks we were having. Due to his diligence and knowledge we decided to go with Jimmy's for our new roof, we are now seeing that was a mistake. They were originally suppose to start on our roof on August 24th, the project manager Mike Gibson came out the morning of the 24th and placed a Jimmy's sign in our yard and left, about an hour later I receive a call from Mike explaining that there had been a misunderstanding and the crew had thought the job had been cancelled, he was going to call me back to let me know if they would be out the following day, I had not heard from him by 4PM so I called him, he said he still had not connected with the crew and it was not looking like they would be out at all that week so we agreed to move to the following week. We had called our sales rep Jon to inform him about the miscommunication and he assured us that he would have his 'best' crew out on the 8/31. The crew did show up on the 31st, however they appeared to be contracted by Jimmy's and not actual Jimmy employees, they showed up with a Uhaul trailer for the tear off and they were impossible to communicate with as they did not speak English, also they asked to use our restroom multiple times during the first day. We were told that it would take 2 days for our roof it is now Friday and they still have not completed the shed in the back. The workers took multiple breaks while they were here and seemed to only work 4-5 hours per day. Not a single project manager showed up to check on the progress. When we reached out to Jon with our concerns he said he would be coming by to see how the job was going, Jon did show up but only stayed on site for no more than 10 minutes and did not come and speak to us (the home owners) to see if we had any concerns about how things were going. Also, the workers thought that they were only doing the main roof on the house and that the garage, front patio and bay window were not being done, because of this lack of communication between the sales rep (Jon), PM (Mike) and the crew the project took a day longer then it should of and they still have not done the shed in our backyard. Also they left a ton of materials behind just thrown in our yard and caused some minor damage to the yard as they did not lay down any tarps when they did the tear off. When we reached out to Jon on 9/3 to let him know the shed was still not complete and that there were left over materials he said that he had forgot to put the shed on the contract for the crew (but our contract has the shed on it) and that they were on their way over to finish, this was at 10AM on 9/3, they still have not shown up and we have yet to hear from Jon. Use this company with caution as they seem to not communicate well with their teams and their lack of concern and customer service is far from the 'premium' service they say to stand by"
