      Why EnergyGuard™ HD Barrier Polyiso Insulation?

      EnergyGuard™ HD Barrier has an R-value of 2.5, the highest of any non-Polyiso type of cover board, and also achieves an ANSI UL790 roof rating over combustible wood decks without the use of a slip sheet - and, at 11 lb. respectively per 4’ x 8’ board, it’s a fraction of the weight of gypsum cover boards. With 80 psi compressive strength and a durable coated glass facer, EnergyGuard™ HD Barrier provides a sturdy substrate and protection for a roof system.
