PARSIPPANY, NJ – March 6, 2019 - GAF, a Standard Industries company and the largest roofing and waterproofing manufacturer in North America, announced the appointment of Dion Rooney as Chief Information Officer. Dion will lead the technology organization within GAF and drive its digital transformation to leverage robust, data-driven solutions and new digital capabilities across all of its businesses.

Dion joins GAF from Hudson’s Bay Company, the parent company of retail leaders Saks, OFF 5th, Lord & Taylor, Hudson’s Bay and Gilt, where he was responsible for transforming its $2 billion online retail business into a digital-centric and data-driven organization. Previously, Dion spent more than a decade as Chief Information Officer and Vice President, Information Systems at Toys “R” Us, where he played a key role in advancing their e-commerce strategy, application of big data and the company’s $100 million supply chain transformation. Mr. Rooney holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University.
