GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, announced today that it has won the Platinum award for Best Website Design and Gold award for Best Social Media Strategy: Best Use of Facebook in Hanley Wood’s 1st Annual Brand Builder Awards. The Brand Builder Awards recognize the most innovative and effective marketing campaigns throughout the residential and commercial design and construction industry. The competition is designed to honor the organizations that have demonstrated superiority in their ability to develop, create, implement, and execute marketing strategies and tactics that define excellence.
The Brand Builder Awards were chosen by an independent judge’s panel of marketing and advertising experts: Deborah Meyer, CMO, Pulte Homes; Andrew Davis, Monumental Shift; Cary Griffin, president & founder of Griffin & Company, Inc.; John Ketchum, president, Ketchum & Associates; Vincent Polito, principal, Marketing Design Group; and Kate Caskin, president, Kate Caskin Consulting. Entries for each category consisted of a written campaign/tactical summary and examples of creative executions. The judges looked for three things when choosing winners: clearly stated goal(s) of the campaign; effective creative executions that supported the goal(s) of the campaign; and tangible results.
