According to research conducted by a renowned third party market research firm on behalf of GAF Materials Corporation, GAF-Elk Timberline® Architectural Shingles were rated highest in quality among contractors, and were perceived to be the most improved in quality above ten competing brands.

Through this technology, these shingles all pass ASTM’s two toughest wind tests: ASTM D3161 Class F 110 mph and ASTM D7158 Class H 150 mph. Their slightly reduced weight also lessens the impact on natural resources used to create the shingles.
