"Pete and his crew did an excellent job replacing our roof prior to us moving in. They were upfront about the cost and ended up staying within budget. They made sure to properly install the roof instead of doing a band-aid repair that would require more work in three years. They were on time and were able to schedule the work to get done a few days before our move, being respectful to ensure we don't have to deal with endless pounding on the roof while we are home. They also offered us financing to make it more manageable to pay for the roof work. "Our roof was nearly 20 years old and was holding up great, but we are investing in solar panels and so the whole thing needed to be replaced. Pete was responsive from my first inquiry about a quote. He met with me to talk about the details of the project and explore different options. I appreciate the time he spent understanding our situation and telling me about the extra steps the company makes to use sustainable practices like recycling whatever demo materials possible. Ultimately, the team replaced the entire roof and all gutters on our home and our detached garage. They replaced several boards that were rotten or in disrepair and vented our upstairs bathroom, which hadn't been done previously. In addition to all of this, they helped us to acquire necessary photographs of the roof joists for our solar's structural assessment. Pete was very responsive to questions via text and phone through the whole process. The entire crew was punctual, kind, hardworking, and conscientious about safety, protecting our property, and cleanup. They spent so much time after construction cleaning up nails, bits of shingles, etc. It was a pleasure to work with Smart Roofing, Inc. and I would gladly recommend their services."
