Ruff Roofers, established in 1939, has achieved a solid reputation as a skilled and experienced Maryland residential and commercial roofing contractor. We do every type of roofing both steep (shingle, slate, metal, cedar shake) and low slope (single ply and built-up). Using a philosophy provided by our founder Charles "Buck" Ruff of "creating the standard by which others are judged."     "We are extremely pleased with Ruff Roofing re-shingling our home. From the time Rob gave us the estimate until the last bit of debris was removed, everyone we worked with was competent, knowledgeable, efficient and respectful. The result speaks for itself, the roof looks amazing. Ruff was not the lowest bid. However the customer care and obvious attention to detail made up the $300 difference on a $10k project. Rob, Steve, Jorge, Scott, JJ and the crew did a very good job, as did Felix who delivered the materials. We highly recommend Ruff."

    "They were able to come out within just a day or two after we called requesting assistance. It was for a religious facility and they treated the building with dignity. From the estimator to the crew, they were professional and and responsive. Even when we had to request they come back for a different area that wasn't identified the first time, they responded quickly and sent out a crew. Great work!"
