A Roof Deck Protection
Quality Roof Deck Protection provides an extra layer of moisture protection between
your roofing material and the roof deck. However, in some jurisdictions, roof assemblies
are also required to be fire resistant.
Fire-Resistant roof deck protection:
- Should provide the very best fire protection: a UL Class A rating on most homes
and properties
- Protects against dangerous flame spread and penetration into the interior of the
property
- Upgrades UL classification of most metal roofs to a UL Class A rating
- Helps provide temporary moisture resistance while the roofing system is being installed

The word "Lifetime" means as long as the original individual owner of
a single family detached residence (or the second owner in certain circumstances)
owns the property where the shingles and accessories are installed. For owners/structures
not meeting above criteria, Lifetime coverage is not applicable. Lifetime ltd. warranty
on accessories requires the use of at least three qualifying GAF accessories and
the use of Lifetime Shingles.
