We wanted a cool roof to make the house more energy efficient and to reduce the temperature of the attic space, which we access daily for stored items. The color of the Timberline shingles matched the exterior of our home perfectly. What did I like best about this shingle? Their technical properties, exceeded my expectations. The 16' high cathedral ceiling with a 24'x16' glass wall of windows and doors facing the afternoon western sun generates a lot of heat. This roof was selected because of it's engineered cooling attributes for a cooler roof and a projected cooling cost saving of 20%. What did I like best about this shingle?
