Flexible Benefits Program

Medical: Coverage provided by CIGNA point of service where available or CIGNA Indemnity Plans or HMO plans where available.

Prescription: PCS-client based network and mail-order program.

Dental: Coverage provided by Prudential Healthcare includes preventative/diagnostic, minor restorative, major restorative and orthodontia.

Vision: Coverage provided by CIGNA includes exams, lenses, frames and contact lenses.
Long Term Disability: Coverage by Prudential Healthcare includes pay replacement (50% or 60% of base pay) and benefit integration.

The Capital Accumulation Plan is the Company's 401K Plan
OVERVIEW OF THE CAPITAL ACCUMULATION PLAN

Max. Employee Contribution*

14% pre-tax
10% after-tax
3% basic contribution, plus two-thirds matching
Employer Contributions contribution on the first 6% of employee's pre-tax contribution (Maximum of 4%)
Immediate Vesting 100%

The company provides a basic 3% of an employee's annual compensation. This "basic" pre-tax benefit requires no employee contribution.

The Company provides a matching contribution equal to two-thirds of the first 6% of an employee's pre-tax contribution (the maximum matching contribution is 4%). Example: The employee contributes 6% of compensation. The Company makes a matching contribution of 4% of compensation and a basic contribution of 3% of compensation for a total company contribution of 7% of compensation.

The Company also makes an additional annual contribution each year.  The amount of the annual contribution is based on “your” attained age in the year the contribution is made.

An employee is immediately 100% vested in all contributions made by the employee and the company.

The Capital Accumulation Plan is administered by the Vanguard Group and offers a variety of investment choices. An employee is eligible to participate in the Plan on the first of the month following the completion of six (6) full months of employment. At that time, the employee will receive an enrollment package with further details regarding the Plan. An employee may rollover funds from a former employer's qualified plan at any time, even prior to participating in the Capital Accumulation Plan.




Additional Benefits

Employee Referral Program 
The Employee Referral Program rewards employees who recommend an individual who is hired by GAF Materials Corp. for an exempt or nonexempt position with the Company. The total award for referring an individual who is hired by the Company is equal to 5% of the minimum annual salary for the grade of the job. All current GAF Materials Corp. employees are eligible, except Officers. 

Tuition Reimbursement Plan 
GAF Materials Corp. encourages the personal growth of employees by reimbursing up to 90% of approved reimbursable costs for full-time employees who successfully complete qualified courses.

Health Club Reimbursement Plan
 
An annual health club reimbursement of up to $100 is available to all full-time, non-bargaining hourly and salaried employees, in our plant locations. A private fitness center is available at our Corporate Headquarters for a discounted rate.

Attendance Awards 

Full-time, nonexempt, salaried employees are eligible to receive a cash award for perfect attendance throughout a full calendar year. 

Profit Incentive Plan
 
Full-time, salaried employees who are not normally eligible for a bonus will receive a one (1) percent bonus if the Company achieves its Operating Income Goal for the year.

Employee Credit Union 
All salaried employees are eligible to join our Credit Union.
